Mother-Daughter Day (otherwise known as President's Day)

We had a Mother-Daughter day since Daniel had to go to school and Daddy had to go to work. Rebecca was super excited. We went to Clay Café and painted pottery! Rebecca's plate is attached :) Then we went to Starbucks for a treat. Rebecca told me she had a great time and then said, "I want to come over and give you a hug." It totally melted my heart when she gave me the hug and snuggled with me at Starbucks. Totally made me realize how being in the moment with the kids is so important.

Daniel's glasses

Daniel has glasses for reading to help him focus with both eyes at the right depth. Otherwise his eyesight is beyond 20/20.

Valentine's Day 2014

Rebecca loved her Elsa and Anna princesses from the movie - Frozen plus her little puppy dog from Daddy. Daniel of course received airplanes! Daddy, Daniel and Rebecca all loved the Blondies made by Mommy :)

Snow. Snow. and more Snow.

10 inches of snow which took me 2.5 hours to clear the driveway! YIKES. Daniel and Rebecca had a blast in the snow with Kyle and Morgan.

Apogee Holiday Party and the ER

We had fun at Apogee Holiday party (lots of Cosmo drinks :) While we were gone, Daniel tried to get a piece of pizza and got a knife instead and sliced his finger. Our babysitter was putting Rebecca to sleep when this happened. The next morning we opened up the bandage and it started bleeding all over. So off we go to ER at 8am Sunday morning. Thank God he did not need stitches.
