Memorial Day 2011

Our little American Cutie on Memorial Day! I just love the pictures of Michael and Rebecca together. Daniel and I headed to the pool for the first time this season and he had a blast. Wish we had three days off every weekend to hang out with the kiddies!

One Year Ago Today

Rebecca standing up with a little help from Mommy and her toy bin :) She is trying so hard to go from her knees to standing up all on her own. She will be there soon I think.

One year ago today we met Rebecca's amazing birth mother. We have been so blessed by her love! I hope she knows how much we love Rebecca.

Rebecca is Clapping!

Rebecca figured out how to clap this weekend. Whenever you say "Yeah Rebecca" she will start clapping and it is absolutely adorable. So we were all clapping to get Rebecca to clap. She is such a sweetheart. (will have to upload the video once Michael gets it off the FLIP Video)

I just know this little girl wants to be able to stand up and run around with Daniel. She keeps trying to stand up and is very determined to figure it out. And we keep going through clothes like crazy b/c she is growing so fast. On to 18-24 months right now for the most part.

I miss my little angel bear when I am out of town like tonight. Seeing her smile in the morning and having Daniel want to snuggle with Mommy in the evening are what life is really all about. So happy that Michael is holding down the fort for me:)

The step that stops Rebecca . . . . for now!

So there is one step between our family room and kitchen. This is the only thing from keeping Rebecca from getting out of the family room. She is pulling herself up but cannot quite get over the step. She is trying so hard to pull herself up on things. Our little baby is growing up fast.

Mommy is Back in the House!

Well I headed off to our Deltek User Conference in Nashville on Sunday. I had an amazing evening Monday night having dinner on stage at the Grand Ole Opry and listening to singer/songwriters perform for us!

Well Daniel and Daddy got sick on Tuesday so I had to come home early Wednesday morning and miss the Train performance (boo!).

But Rebecca gave me big smiles and Daniel took a nap with me so all is right now that Mommy is home :)

Well, these pictures capture my two blessings perfectly. Daniel goofing around and Rebecca laughing with him. How can you not be happy with these two around? I feel very blessed this Mother's Day.
