Robyn, BJ and Jen came over to hang out with Daniel. He had is tonsils and adnoids removed yesterday and the poor guy is in a lot of pain. Robyn and BJ definitely cheered him up plus he gets lots of chocolate ice cream and naps with Mommy.

Daniel LOVED the butterflies. He was running around the entire time squealing and laughing. He loved it when the butterflies landed on him and he could see some of the types of butterflies he has learned about in his book. Pure happiness for Daniel - priceless for Mommy and Daddy.


Our niece was fascinated with all the butterflies.

Yes our new SUV can hold 4 adults and three kids in car seats. Macall got a little wind blown on the ride until we cranked the air conditioning. Macall and Daniel sat in the back laughing, singing, playing and goofing around with each other. It was adorable.

At home: Michael bought Daniel live caterpillars who are now in their chrysalis stage. Michael transferred them to netting cage so that they can hatch into butterflies. Daniel is so fascinated by all of this - it is awesome how much he knows about butterflies.

Daniel was so happy to get out in the pool this afternoon - he would have stayed there right through dinner if he could.


We had a wonderful trip to Brookside Gardens - Wings of Fancy Butterfly Exhibit. I feel like I saw even more butterflies than I did last year. Daniel was jumping around and so happy the entire time - pure little boy joy. Rebecca slept through the whole exhibit of course. Macall really liked the butterflies and seeing them fly around. What a wonderful day with the kids.

It was so wonderful to have Scott and Erica here all weekend. Macall loves baby Rebecca and had so much fun with Daniel. Daniel loves his cousin Callie and they are so cute together. Our family is the best (and they let me take 2 much needed naps).

We had such a great time with Uncle Scott, Aunt Erica and Macall visiting from Texas. Daniel was so excited to see baby Callie again. And he loves is funny Uncle Scott. Rebecca really liked being held by everyone all day :) Plus we had such a fabulous time outside on swings/slide and at the pool. What a fantastic day with the kids. Callie could not be any cuter and she loves her Aunt Holly!
