2 Week Pediatrician Appointment

Daddy with his sleeping little "angel bear"

Rebecca and Mommy enjoying some sunshine and moderate temperatures outside. We are also celebrating one week together as a family of four!!

Rebecca had her 2 week Pediatrician Check-up and she now weighs 8lbs. 4 oz. (50-75%) and is 20.5 inches (75%). She was an angel at the Pediatrician office and all the nurses loved her!

Big Brother and 5 Years Ago Today!

Daniel saying Goodnight to Rebecca - what a great big brother!

Daniel's favorite thing when he was a baby was the Rainforest Bouncer. He loved it and could watch that monkey and listen to music for hours! Now Rebecca has a new Rainforest Bouncer and Daniel was teaching her how to use it this morning.

\
One of Daniel's "side kisses" for his baby sister! Daniel kisses by putting his cheek next to your cheek or head - so cute.

Peaceful sleeping baby!

Daniel got this great customzed "Big Brother shirt with an airplane" from Christopher. He decided to wear it to school today.

Another kiss for Rebecca

Dancing to the Rainforest Bouncer music

"I remember this toy"!

5 years ago today we became "Approved and Waiting" with Gladney for our Adoption of Daniel. Little did we know that 5 years later we would have two amazing children through Gladney and their incredible birth mothers. We are so very blessed to have completed our family of four.

Our best to all our family and friends who are still on their adoption journeys. There is a special child for all of you!

On the move already . . .

I am on the move and learning how to "stretch and groove"!
(and I got one sock off!)

I am up to something . . .

Michael placed Rebecca on the sofa (on her back) and then discovered that she rolled to her side all by herself! WOW! Here is our sleeping angel with her "I love Daddy" onesie :)

Mother-Daughter Photos

Rebecca is only 11 days old and she has already captured my heart!

Holding Daddy's Finger

Our little angel holding her Daddy's finger. Let us see if she wraps Daddy around her finger as she gets older! I was and still am a Daddy's Little Girl (you never outgrow it) so I understand what it is like to have a wonderful father-daughter relationship.

Thanks to Aunt Jen for coming over and letting Mommy have a nap! Rebecca is already in love with her!

Settling In . . .

So we are settling in with our little angel and learning that she is a very good baby girl :)

Sweet baby face

Daniel looking at ants - his favorite thing to do right now!

Sharing an ice cream with Daddy on the back porch

Rebecca loves her Hunny Bunny from Barbara and Paul

Look at me on my super soft butterfly blanket!

Rebecca hugging Nana - so adorable

Nana came to visit Rebecca (and give me a chance to take a wonderful nap!)

One Sock On, One Sock Off

Rebecca is always kicking off one sock just like Daniel when he was a baby! I have already lost some socks :)

Daddy Duty

Rebecca likes moving and kicking. She is already moving her head around so we need to watch her!

Nap time for Mommy and Rebecca

Daniel headed back to school today and Michael and I stayed home with Rebecca. She is such a good baby. I did manage to get out to Giant for groceries and baby supplies - the cart was so loaded down I could barely steer it.

When Daniel got home he wanted some Mommy time so we went to the park after dinner while Michael fed Rebecca. It is so different with two kids and deciding how to split up your time. Daniel keeps giving me lots of kisses which I love - he wants to make sure I am not going anywhere again!
