End of Summer

We had a trip to the park and then a stop at Tutti Frutti for Fozen Yogurt yesterday.  I cannot believe that I now have a 3 year old and a 6 year old.  Time flies.  This summer went super fast b/c I headed back to work on July 1.

Daniel is in his first big boy camp:  Earth, Space and Beyond for 6-11 year olds.  I hope he has a wonderful week.

Trip Home from North Myrtle Beach

Well we left at 7:20am and got home at 3pm today!  Hit some traffice between Fredericksburg and Chantilly.  And we also discovered that the iPad has 7 hours of a charge.  I started a game during the last hour to see who could stay quiet the longest for a prize - desperate times call for desperate measures.  The kids were sad to leave the beach, but happy to be home :)

Daniel's Birthday and Last Day at the Beach

Happy Boy on his 6th Birthday.  He gets an Air Canada 777.  And he told everyone about it :)

Forget birthday cupcakes.  We have birthday donuts!

I think Daniel did 1000 cannon balls this week.  He could do this for hours.

We managed to get in some beach and pool time today before it really started pouring.  The kids also saw and animal show and Daniel got to pet a baby alligator!  I think Daniel is going to miss the 7 pools forever :)  He was so cute doing his cannon balls and finding other kids to play with.  We also now know that both my kids like the hot tub.

We went to Greg Norman's Australian Grill for dinner.  It was excellent.  Then we went to the little festival in North Myrtle Beach so the kids could have one more night of rides for Daniel's birthday.  Daniel and I especially loved the Tilt-A-Whirl.  Of course there were more fireworks tonight so no one got to sleep early.

It has been a lovely week with the family.  We will definitely miss this place.  I cannot believe that Daniel turned 6 today.  How is that possible?  My little boy is growing up right before my eyes.
