Daniel is our big first grader at the Auburn School. So proud of him and thrilled to meet the parents of all his new classmates.

Family Day - 6 Years with Daniel :)

It is hard to believe that 6 years ago we were having a little party in our hotel room with Uncle Scott and Aunt Erica celebrating the adoption and placement of Daniel.  I look back at the pics and I remember how utterly overjoyed I was holding him for the first time and finally becoming a MOM.

Michael and I cannot imagine our lives without Daniel.  

We took Daniel and Rebecca to Cheesecake Factory for dinner to celebrate Family Day. Plus Daniel received an airplane of course.  He is such a joy in our lives and our little buddy :)

Daniel's First Baseball Game

 Daniel hit the pitch from the coach on his first at bat and then made it all the way home!!!  He told Michael that he is very good at baseball.

Daniel is on the Tiger's coach pitch 5-6 year old baseball team.  He had his first game today and did great.  Managed to even field a ball and throw it to first base.  After 5 pitches from the coach they will pull out the tee and let the kids hit.  Everyone gets to bat in an inning.  Daniel did spend some time in the field playing with the dirt (hard to pay attention through a whole inning when in the outfield).  We are very proud of him.

6 Year Appointment for Daniel

Daniel is now 45 1/4 inches tall (50%) and 46 lbs. (50%).  And we did not need any shots so he is happy.

First Day of First Grade and Preschool I

Daniel heads off to First Grade and is super excited not to be the youngest kid at school this year:)  Rebecca heads to Preschool I to take the world by storm.  They are growing up so fast, yet Daniel still wanted a picture with his Mommy this morning!  Warmed my heart.
