Daniel and Rebecca were so excited when Gram and Pop-pop arrived today! Rebecca ran right over to Gram for a big hug. Plus she can say "Pop-pop" now. We played in the new playroom and also went to the park. Rebecca spiked a 104 degree fever so we had to skip church tonight.

After Daniel and Rebecca went to sleep we had lobster tail and twice baked potatoes for dinner! A lovely Christmas Eve dinner. Then the preparations began for tomorrow!

Daniel is so excited for Santa to arrive and bring him a 767. I cleared out the fireplace to make room for Santa and Daniel was convinced that he wanted to see Santa, but we told him Santa would not come to our house unless he was asleep. We shall see what happens tomorrow morning!

Mommy's Birthday

Daniel requested a vanilla cake with chocolate icing and sprinkles for my birthday so I made one to celebrate 45 years! When I asked Daniel how old he thought I was he said, 20! What a smart boy.

Michael sent me roses to work and brought home gourmet mini-cupcakes for my birthday. Then we headed to Fiola for an incredible dinner. It was a very special day with family.

Daniel singing in the Christmas pageant. He was a "wise man" carrying a present for baby Jesus. When we handed him the present, he unwrapped it and was a little disappointed to find out that it was just a box:) Then when the wise men arrived, Daniel placed his present right on top of baby Jesus in the manger (one of the older children moved the present). I had to laugh!
