One Year Pediatrician Appointment

Rebecca is now 30 inches tall (80%) and 24 lbs. 1 0z. (90%). I cannot believe how fast she is growing up!!!! She had her shots and was very brave. Plus she was very happy to join all the kids in the pool later today.

We cannot believe that it is one year ago today that Rebecca was placed with our family and into our hearts forever. Pastor Stephen did a beautiful ceremony at Gladney with both families. It was such a special day and we are so happy to celebrate it today with Rebecca!



These are pictures of Rebecca before we left the beach on our 7 hour drive - yuk! But Rebecca did get a Barbie Collection Generations of Dreams Doll for Family Day.

One last jump in the waves!

We really had a spectacular vacation in Duck. The Sanderling is a wonderful resort and Daniel has never been happier. I think Rebecca is going to enjoy the ocean and beach just as much as her brother, and she kept saying hi and thank you to everyone this week. It is wonderful to spend a week together as a family. I am reflecting back to this week one year ago when we were in Texas adopting Rebecca. She definitely completes our family. A family vacation like this with just the 4 of us reminds you what is most important in life - Family and raising happy kids who know their parents love them to pieces. It is the small moments that make all the difference and I am thankful to my parents for fun family vacations at the beach!
