Rebecca is constantly on the move.

We had such a great visit with Nicole and Barbara. Nicole wanted to keep touching Rebecca and enjoyed playing with Daniel's airplanes. I cannot wait to see these two sweet girls grow up together. Plus Barbara brought us all kinds of wonderful clothes and cookies (she knows me so well).

Jane was sweet to bring the girls (Alex and Ella-Anne) over for lunch and a visit with Rebecca yesterday! I am so excited for Rebecca to be able to play with Ella-Anne and Alex as she grows up since they are all Gladney babies. Plus we got a whole bunch of adorable clothes from Ella-Anne. I think the girls really liked hanging out with baby Rebecca and playing with a few new toys. They are so sweet. And Jane is the best for bringing all of us some lunch.

Happy Double Anniversary

Yesterday was our 8th Wedding Anniversary and the 1 month Anniversary of bringing Rebecca home to VA.

Michael and I went out to dinner at Villa Mozart - we highly recommend it!!! Delicious meal from appetizer to dessert and in a romantic setting. Unfortunately Rebecca spiked a fever while we were out and was very cranky (she is never cranky unless something is wrong).

When we got home she was not herself at all. Then Daniel woke up in the middle of the night with a horrible nightmare. So he wanted to sleep next to Mommy :)

We took Rebecca to the pediatrician today and she has her first ear infection (once again she is taking after he big brother). At least we can treat it and she should be better in 2 days. Now she weights 11 lbs. and 10 oz. - a great eater even when she is sick. Poor little girl - it breaks your heart when she is sad.

One Month with our Angel Bear!

We are having such a wonderful time with Rebecca Rose. She just gets cuter every single day! Daniel and Rebecca are becoming quick friends and she is now exploring her world. We cannot believe that she is only 5 weeks old - seems like she has been with us always.

First Bath in her Pink Bathtub

I am home today with both kids b/c Michael has his fantasy football draft all day - should be an adventure.




Rebecca had her first real bath on August 20 in her pink bathtub (2nd bathtub after technical difficulties with the first one leaking). She really liked her bath much better than sponge bath :) She might have stayed in there all day. What a sweetheart.

It's Pink

Rebecca gets a new playmat today and Daniel says several times "It's Pink". A whole new world for Rebecca and Daniel. Even though they were home sick for the last two days and I am exhausted, they are my little angels.

1 Month Old Today

We got a cake for Rebecca's first month birthday.
Just like Daniel had for his first month bday.


Sweet Rebecca Rose is 1 month old today. Unfortunately, she got her first cold and we had to go see the pediatrician. Little noses saline drops are our new friends. She now weights 10 lbs. 13 oz and is growing by leaps and bounds (keeping up with her brother when he was a baby). What a sweet baby girl.



Daniel had a great day on Aug. 16 at school for his official birthday. Everyone in his class enjoyed the cupcakes I sent to school.


Grace, Ken and Jill came to visit us and had pizza with us for Daniel's birthday dinner. Plus they got to meet Rebecca!
