Brookside Gardens - Festival of Lights

We went Brookside Gardens for their Festival of Lights!  Daniel and best buddy, Nolan, had an amazing time looking at all the lights and running around (way ahead of all of us).

We had the best time at the Sesame Street Live show at the Patriot Center. We had seats on the floor and Daniel got to hug 5 characters (including Elmo) and Rebecca even hugged a sheep at the end :)  The show had a great plot and wonderful singing. It was perfect for the kids  -  Michael and I were impressed.  Rebecca got a new Elmo which made her super happy and both kids got Elmo balloons.  A fun time for all.

Holly took Rebecca to the Nutcracker at the Kennedy Center for the first time today!  She really enjoyed the ballerinas :)   So much fun to do a girls' event with Rebecca.  We left at intermission b/c she was exhausted since the show was during her nap.

Apparently all we need to get Rebecca and Daniel for Christmas is a box!

Deltek Holiday Party was wonderful this year.  Our customers and partners are fantastic.  Plus I had the honor to raise funds for Year Up.

Elf on the Shelf

Gabriella came back the Sunday after Thanksgiving.  Rebecca and Daniel were very excited.  However, one day Gabriella fell over and had to take a nap.  When Rebecca saw her she got hysterical b/c Gabriella would not be able to make it to the North Pole.  So when she stepped out of the room Michael woke Gabriella up and Rebecca was very happy!
