After a 8.5 hour trip to North Myrtle Beach, we finally made it to the pool. Daniel has been waiting for this moment all summer :)

Awesome resort with a spectacular room. We even saw fireworks before bed. Time to check out the swim up pool bar tomorrow!
So we left at 8:30am and arrived in Myrtle Beach at 5pm with only one stop for lunch. After 5 hours Holly moved to the back seat to take care of the kids for the rest of the trip. Lots of traffic that Michael had to navigate around including a vehicle fire. Very long trip for sure. But it was priceless when we arrived and Daniel finally got to see the 5 pools and try them all out!!!! He was so happy. Then we headed to the beach and ocean. We had Gino's pizza which was authentic NYC style pizza. Delicious. Michael says it might be the best pizza he ever tasted. The resort is wonderful and our room is incredible. Think this will be a super fun week.
