Michael and I just had two wonderful meals at the Sanderling! Beautiful Sunset from the Left Bank on Wednesday Night.
First at the Lifesaving Station: Michael had shrimp and grits with andouille sausage which he says was the best he has ever had!!! Plus we enjoyed fries made in duck grease and goat cheese hushpuppies (Awesome!!!!!). Pretty much a perfect meal for Michael.
Tonight we went to the Left Bank (thanks to our babysitter) for a lovely evening and sunset. I enjoyed the most amazing short ribs and vanilla mousse dessert with raspberry sorbet, strawberries, almond cake, and dark chocolate crumbles... oh, and the French champagne!!! Ooh la la!! Michael, since Holly had the short ribs, ordered the halibut, which was very nice, and still got 1/3 of the short ribs, which were amazing!! He had an incredible hazelnut and chocolate dessert. Yummm!!! The blue cheese olives in Michael's martinis were incredible as well!!
